LEARN TO KITESURF IN FUERTEVENTURA

Learn to kitesurf with our experienced instructors in the lagoon of Risco del Paso. We teach daily when wind and tide conditions allow, always at high tide. Start times vary, so check the tidal chart or contact us to schedule the best times during your stay. Note that 3-4 days per month, the lagoon may be too shallow for lessons.

Our instructors focus on your progress by scheduling only one lesson per day. If the wind isn't ideal, we put you "on call" and contact you when conditions improve. This flexible approach ensures you don't lose your time slot, and we can provide the best possible instruction.

NO TIME LIMITS
We go until you're happy and/or tired! A full lesson includes at least 3 hours of kite flying, but if conditions are right, we may extend your session. You only pay for the time you kitesurf with us.

100 % REFUND POLICY
If the wind cuts out mid-lesson or we can't provide the lesson, you only pay for the time spent with us. We offer a full refund if you prepaid and the lesson was not possible.

  • All courses include neoprene, kite equipment, and hotel transfer (Jandia, Esquinzo, Morro Jable area only).
  • There is no age limit to learn kitesurfing.
  • Minimum weight: 40 kg.
  • Each kite course lasts for approximately 5 hours, including kite flying time, changing clothes, preparing equipment, and transfer to the spot and back.
  • Our instructor takes care of 2 students on one kite.
  • We keep you updated during your stay via WhatsApp about the forecast, changes in your lesson time, etc.

What's included in kitesurf courses?

All kitesurf courses include: kite, bar, board, harness, helmet, wetsuit, impact vest and experienced IKO/VDWS-certified instructors. You only need swimwear, sun protection and water. Transfer from Morro Jable, Esquinzo, Jandia is included.

Where's the best place to learn kitesurfing in Fuerteventura?

We teach in Risco del Paso and Sotavento lagoons - the best kitesurf spots for beginners. The shallow, standing-depth water and constant winds offer ideal learning conditions.

What requirements do I need for kitesurf courses?

You must weigh at least 40kg and be able to swim. No upper age limit. Good basic fitness helps, but kitesurfing is less physically demanding than many think - technique is more important than strength.

How long does a kitesurf course in Fuerteventura take?

Total time is about 5 hours including transfer to/from your accommodation. Depending on group speed with changing and kite setup, the course lasts about 4 hours. Pure kite flying time is minimum 3 hours. If everyone has energy and there's enough water in the lagoon, we go longer until everyone's tired!

Is learning to kitesurf dangerous?

With professional instruction, kitesurfing is safe. We teach all safety systems, right-of-way rules and emergency procedures. Our instructors have years of experience and we use only modern, safe equipment approved byIKO.

How many students are in a kitesurf course?

We teach maximum 2 students per kite with one instructor. Students are grouped by similar level and weight for optimal learning conditions and fast progress. We also offer private kitesurf lessons.

What happens if wind drops during the kitesurf course?

We offer 100% refund if wind drops during the course or it can't take place. You only pay for time actually kitesurfing with us. We put you 'on call' and contact you when conditions improve. Since we book only one course per instructor per day, we're maximally flexible. You won't lose your slot if there's no wind during your booked time.
