What's included in surf courses?

All surf courses include: surfboard, wetsuit, experienced qualified instructors, free transfer from Costa Calma, LaPared, Morro Jable and Esquinzo. We're always available via WhatsApp for questions. You only need to bring water, sunscreen, swimwear,towel and fun!

Are conditions suitable for complete beginners?

Absolutely! Beginners start in the whitewater to get a feel for the board and movement. Whitewater is where waves have already broken but still have enough power to surf. We have spots with smaller waves like Esquinzo or Cruz Roja. La Pared also has smaller waves sometimes. For beginners, wave size doesn't matter as much as how they break, since you'll surf in the whitewater.

Where do surf courses take place?

We have 3 beach licenses for La Pared, Esquinzo, and Cruz Roja. We choose the best spot with optimal conditions daily. Usually we end up at La Pared.

When do surf courses take place?

Our surf courses run year-round, 365 days a year. We're lucky on Fuerteventura that there are always waves somewhere, and Surfers Island has surf licenses for 3 different beaches. For optimal learning conditions, we always go at low tide. You can find tide timeshere. Course times vary daily based on tides.

How many people are in a surf course?

Our surf courses have maximum 8 participants per instructor. This ensures individual attention and faster progress. We also offer private surf lessons - contact us via WhatsApp for details.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Yes, swimming skills are required for all surf courses. You should feel comfortable in waist to chest-deep water. Our instructors are always nearby.

What age can you start learning to surf?

We have no minimum or maximum age. Everyone is different, especially children develop differently. Most important is motivation and enthusiasm for surfing. Since we teach in groups, we have a minimum weight of 35kg. If your child is lighter, contact us directly for solutions like private lessons.

What happens in bad weather or big waves?

Safety comes first. In dangerous conditions we reschedule for free or offer refunds. Fuerteventura has over 300 sunny days per year - bad weather is rare!
